I was waiting to make a comic about Gliese 581 and her potentially life-sustaining orbs but I was waiting to see if it was a hoax or something. The distant optimism it provides is shadowed only by its heartbreaking reality.
That's gonna be some bad news to deliver, let me tell you. "My fellow Earthicans, tomorrow our beloved sun Helios is going to blow the hell up. Now, we've only got a few ships that are capable of making it to to another galaxy but it's really expensive so... to you half trillion people who can't afford to go... I hear reincarnation is a distinct possibility."
Probably the toughest part about being a reluctantly rational skeptical Godless heathen is psychologically sorting out the ramifications of nonexistence, both pre- and post- life. Understanding that there is a biological need to be terrified of nonexistence is the closest thing to soothing that is attainable.
In tangible news, I've created a Facebook group for Dumbrella! Hopefully all of the people who are Dumbrella will get on it. Let's book some face!
