I'm still trying to figure out my trip back to Northeast Oklahoma. Was the place always that ramptantly jingoistic and unhealthy or did I just not notice it my whole life? I used to get offended when people referred to the Midwest as "flyover country" but there are a lot of things Midwesterners need to do to improve their image, such as using their inside voices when verbalizing their desire to eviscerate minorities. However it is wrong to generalize and there are many kind, intelligent people in Oklahoma but they are greatly and hopelessly outnumbered.

Lots to do this week, gotta do a lot of drawing and get my brain in the convention game. Hotels O'Clock! There will be at least one art auction and one limited-release t-shirt this week. It's either this or panhandling and if you think there competition on the interwubs is tough just try to get a decent spot at the end of the exit ramp. You gotta write your Esses and Ees backwards to get noticed.
