Six Nine Elevens

Tuesday, September 11, 2007 - 12:00 AM

Most everybody's aware of NSPD 51 / HSPD-20 which legally establishes indefinite executive powers in the event of a "catastrophic emergency" since we all know how good they are at that sort of thing so there's nothing to worry about, ever. It's not like anybody else could do better or worse. I think I've got outrage fatigue syndrome.

I miss when Osama bin Laden was kinda scary and not just some probably fake guy who watches cable news and wants us to go to church with him. Sure it was crappy, but it least it was this overblown comic book craziness and not this jingoistic, touchy-feely, 12-step program we have now, and Britney Spears didn't just kind of halfheartedly waddle around on stage.
