The reason for this comic is an episode of one of my favorite podcasts, The Skeptic's Guide to the Universe, in which they recently had a terribly interesting discussion about the logistics of immortality and how much it would basically suck.
You should listen to the Skeptic's Guide to the Universe though instead of that two-hour podcast about iPod cozies that you always listen to. It's time to admit to yourself that they ran out of ideas halfway through the first episode.
