Sadly this year I couldn't participate in ThanksTaking activities. ThanksTaking, as you probably know, occurs the day before Thanksgiving (so as to confuse Whitey), and to celebrate you eat a reasonable amount of food and watch the movie in which the most white people get killed (the unrated director's cut of Zach Snyder's Dawn of the Dead). * ThanksTaking is a tradition here at Overcompensating, as can be observered here, here and here.
And we are so looking forward to World Sauntering Day now that we know it is a real thing.
I wish a quiet, nonviolent birthday to Mr. Jon Rosenberg today, whose faith prevents him from celebrating ThanksTaking. He is 1,000 years old today.
By the way I'm sorry my update schedule has been crummier than usual lately. Due to the stupid economy everybody seems to have waited for the very last minute to order things from TopatoCo, and I've been putting in a ton of time at the office. Let's review shipping facts for TopatoCo since that is your favorite thing!
International orders placed after November 28 should use Global Priority, Express, or UPS. After November 28 we cannot promise Christmas delivery for International items shipped using International First Class or Canada shipping.There might be a new Wigu comic on Friday. This week is a cluster you-know-what.
Everyone else should be fine until December 17 or so. Due to some crazily fluctuating inventory levels (sometimes the same item can be in 10 or more baskets at the same time) some items may be classified incorrectly. We will notify you if you happen to order something "In Stock" that runs out. We are able to do that now using the power of computers (and smart people).
We're also getting loads of stuff in a few times a week so check back. Also if you're in the US and an item is reprinting, it will get here in time to ship for Xmas but make sure you order now to get to the front of the queue.
