This weekend I finally got to actually spend a couple of minutes with Andrew WK, as is evidenced in the above cartoon strip. Nellie McKay was there too, she can prove it. Anyway it was good to finally talk to the dude in meatspace and not just in my head. Anyway now I REALLY need to get the Overcompensating book finished.

Anyway the reason for this was we went to a live recording of The Sound of Young America recording at WNYC. Hopefully you'll be able to see the video of it soon. This will be somehow relevant to TopatoCo in the coming weeks.

The Englishman's new comic Bad Machinery begins today, and intelligence reports he is on his way to America this week. We must all be extra vigilant, and prepared.
