I enjoy riding my bike! I ride my bike to work whenever I can, sometimes even taking the long way through Northampton just because it is all downhill. So fun. I wear my helmet and obey all the dumb laws, because it MAKES SENSE. I see a lot of clowns riding bikes around with no helmets, amongst traffic, and it drives me bonkers. Sometimes I see people wearing HEADPHONES while they're riding bikes. These kind of people are the kind of people that make people hate cyclists, them and the spandex jerks that are all uppity about it.
It's riding a bike. It's fun and it's a faster way to get around. There's no reason to be neither a moron nor a dick about it. Just ride your bike and be careful about it, because there's a non-zero percentage of people who are driving cars and texting about serious mistakes they made last night at the same time.
